As we navigate the vast landscape of options, whether searching for a place to dine or a movie to watch, it becomes evident that while the internet excels as an aggregating tool, its effectiveness as an editing tool is wanting. In a world saturated with duplications, fake news, and fast fashion, the challenge becomes discerning how to reclaim control over our time and determine whom and what to trust.
For us, the journey toward clarity starts with asking the right questions: What are our values, and what do we truly value? Over the past 8 years, we've dedicated ourselves to this exploration, shaping our brand around the answers. We hold in high regard individuals of remarkable talent and integrity, prioritize great design and quality, environmental sustainability for our loved ones and recognize time as our most precious asset — yours, ours, and the earth— the ultimate luxury.
At the heart of our 2024 mission is Generational Environmental Preservation. We take pride in using fallen trees, often over a century old and rich with historical sentiment to revive and give it a new purpose. When you choose us, your order not only welcomes a generational art piece into your home but also actively contributes to the sustainable preservation of our environment. As part of this commitment, a portion of your order goes towards planting a dozen new trees during the State Arbor Day Celebration, fostering community and environmental well-being.

ShahWood Studios was founded in 2014 and, early-on, it committed to reinterpret techniques of fine craftsmanship to create unexpected pieces of elegant designs.
ShahWood Studios mission is to deliver exclusive designed products where no element or detail is overlooked and the human factor is treasured.
Each creation carries the legacy of centuries of craftsmanship. In the workshops, talented artisans challenge and combine traditional manufacturing techniques with the latest technological methods to shape the finest materials into remarkable furniture and timeless pieces of art. The collections are inspired and accurately handcrafted in Salt Lake City, Utah with attention to detail, passion for beauty and the pure dedication of skilled craftsmen.

The origins of Shahwood Studios date back 10 years, but its story has been centuries in the making. Across the globe, the enduring beauty and wisdom of craftsmanship have been passed down through generations, culminating in the creation of soulful design pieces today.
The non-settle feeling of creative minds and the meticulous effort of master artisans, gave the vision to understand the past through forgotten techniques and raw materials and interpret it through cutting-edge technology.
A single piece may journey through the hands of various skilled artisans and undergo multiple processes to bring to life a one-of-a-kind design that captures Utah's expertise in marquetry, craftsmanship, joinery, woodworking, and metalwork, among others. A careful enthusiasm with a new-found confidence that goes alongside a passion for the country’s strong craft heritage.

Approach
As functional artists, we want each piece we create to be incredible. We strive to make each item we build stunning and useful.
To achieve this, we listen when our customers tell us what they want. Then we apply our ideas and experience to design something completely unique.
We provide our clients with regular progress reports to make sure the intended piece fits their needs. We also incorporate suggestions or ideas from clients wherever we can. Once we know exactly what you like, we try to leave at least one surprise that we know you will LOVE for the end.
SUSTAINABILITY
We at ShahWood Studios believe in fine creations and woodworking through ethics. We will never chop down a tree to create your unique piece. In fact, we plant a dozen young tree's for every piece we sell during our annual planting day right here in Salt Lake County, UT.
